Study Data Questions

Who do I contact?

There is a single lead point of contact at each site who has overall responsibility for site governance registration and coordinating handover between local collaborator teams.

The sites contacts are listed on the POSTVenTT home page. If your site contact is not listed please contact your state or country contact.

Data Entry

After your register you will be assigned an account on the data entry platform (REDCap). This will be a personal account for you to enter data for your site.

Each site has it’s own data access group (DAG) and only members of your local acces group will be able to view the data you enter. The various data entry forms are self explanatory although if you are not familar with REDCap you should seek local guidance and training on the data entry process.

There are many REDCap training resources available on the Internet although as you will only be entering data your local site leader will be better placed to fast track you on data entry.

How do you define data completeness?

Following data collection, only data sets with >95% data completeness will be accepted for pooled national analysis. To emphasise the importance of data completeness to collaborators, data collection periods with >5% missing data points will be excluded from the study and collaborators from those periods withdrawn from the published list of citable collaborators.

How do I lodge a change request?

A change register is used by the project team to log and track change requests because project changes may have unintended impacts. Change requests requested will be reviewed and approved, denied or deferred. All changes requests will be maintained in the change log.
